Our mission
TheChainPost exists to make crypto news faster to read, easier to trust, and less exhausting to follow. The industry moves in hours, not days, and most of what is published on any given morning is filler. The desk curates, verifies, and attributes the handful of stories that actually matter.
How it works
The newsroom monitors more than 30 primary sources around the clock — wire services, exchanges, protocol blogs, regulator filings, and the dominant industry publications. Stories that clear our editorial bar are retold in a single consistent editorial voice, checked against the source, and filed with a clear attribution line back to the outlet that did the original reporting. We do not scrape. We do not rehost. We credit every reporter whose work we build on.
What we cover
Regulation, DeFi, stablecoins, ETFs, base-layer protocols, scaling networks, exchange news, protocol security, macro context, and the occasional memecoin absurdity that is too strange to ignore. If the story has real stakes for holders, builders, or users, it belongs on the front page. If it is a press release dressed up as analysis, it does not.
What we will not do
- We do not issue price predictions or price targets.
- We do not publish trading signals or anything that reads like one.
- We do not shill tokens, even ones the desk personally holds.
- We do not accept payment for editorial placement, ever.
How we pay the rent
Display advertising and affiliate partnerships with regulated exchanges. When a story contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed on the page and in the affiliate disclosure. Sponsored placements, when they exist, are clearly labeled and kept entirely separate from editorial coverage.
Accountability
The desk publishes a public corrections log and a set of editorial standards. Readers who spot an error, a missed source, or a fairness issue can reach the newsroom through the contact page and should expect a reply within one business day.
