What Grok AI predicted
CoinDesk shared a piece framed around a Grok AI run where the prompt produced price ranges for three assets by the end of May 2026.
According to the source text, Grok projected:
- Bitcoin moving toward $88,000 to $95,000
- Ethereum reclaiming momentum toward $2,500 to $2,800
- XRP breaking into $1.75 to $2.00
The same source text stresses that these are not presented as random targets. It says the model assumes the current consolidation is “accumulation,” and that macro pressure fades enough to let the prior trend continue.
The conditions and invalidation levels
The source text also adds risk structure. It says each bullish scenario comes with invalidation zones.
For Bitcoin, it claims Grok’s bullish path requires holding above $75,000. For Ethereum, it cites above $2,300. For XRP, it says the invalidation is the “mid-$1.30s.”
The later parts of the source text then translate that into a market check. It says the projections are ahead of price and “not aligned” yet, with the key point being whether price action confirms the assumed trend continuation.
What the source says about current price action
The CoinDesk text states that the market is still in “ranging” mode, not “expanding.” It highlights levels it treats as pivots.
- For Bitcoin, it says price is holding around $76,000, and calls $75,000 the pivot. If that breaks, the source text suggests downside toward $68,000 to $72,000.
- For Ethereum, it ties the outlook to the $2,300 zone. It says losing that level points toward $2,050 to $2,150.
- For XRP, it says price trades around the mid-$1.40s and needs a break above $1.67 to confirm the breakout structure. If XRP fails, the source text cites a return toward $1.35 to $1.45, with deeper risk near $1.28.
The source text frames “volume” as the next deciding factor. It argues buyers need to step in for these targets to become more plausible, otherwise the current range could persist and delay the breakout.
A separate promo tacked onto the story
After the prediction discussion, the source text pivots into marketing for “Bitcoin Hyper,” calling it an infrastructure play and describing a presale that “has raised $32M,” with a quoted token price and “staking available” at “high APY.” The post invites readers to “Research Bitcoin Hyper here.”
That promotional section is not part of Grok’s prediction logic, and it adds its own claims that are outside the AI price range discussion.
