HYPE is trading above $60 even as the broader market slid over the past several days. NewsBTC points to one reason that looks less like luck and more like coordination. Arkham Intelligence data shows institutional-scale withdrawals from exchanges paired with immediate staking behavior.

Exchange withdrawals that end in staking

In the past several hours, Arkham Intelligence tracked three new wallets withdrawing a combined 557,406 HYPE tokens, worth about $40.2 million, from Kraken. The key detail is that the wallets staked the entire amount right after withdrawal.

NewsBTC frames that as a behavioral fork from routine portfolio management. Tokens staked immediately after an exchange withdrawal are committed to validator infrastructure rather than positioned for quick trading or sale.

Then, about six hours ago, Arkham data showed another new wallet withdrawing 180,000 HYPE worth roughly $13.3 million from Coinbase. NewsBTC emphasizes the venue contrast. The withdrawals were concentrated in a compressed timeframe across Kraken and Coinbase, two of the most scrutinized exchanges.

Across that eight-hour window, NewsBTC sums up the pattern as four new wallets and over $53 million in HYPE leaving those exchanges. Instead of chasing the same selloff direction as the rest of the market, these wallets moved the other way.

The multi-day accumulation signal

The story is not just about one burst. NewsBTC highlights Arkham data tied to wallet 0x6436, which first appeared in the flow data three days ago. Over that time, the wallet withdrew a total of 761,357 HYPE tokens, worth about $55.4 million, from exchanges.

NewsBTC argues that the three-day cadence matters. A single withdrawal can look like custody migration, rebalancing, or other operational reasons. Three consecutive days of exchange withdrawals that add up to $55.4 million describes something more deliberate.

The timing also matters because it ran against the backdrop of market stress. NewsBTC ties the withdrawals to a period when many participants would usually reduce exposure, not build it. Yet wallet 0x6436 kept accumulating throughout the broader selloff.

NewsBTC also notes that this institutional picture layers on top of other withdrawals mentioned in the same series, including Galaxy Digital’s withdrawals and the Kraken and Coinbase staking moves.

Price action: resilience, then a post-peak correction

Despite the accumulation, HYPE is not immune to the selloff. NewsBTC says HYPE is experiencing its first meaningful pullback after an explosive rally that took the token to all-time highs near $75.

On the chart, NewsBTC reports HYPE rejected near that peak and fell about 13% in a single session, closing near $65. Even with that sharp drop, the longer trend stays constructive in NewsBTC’s read.

It says HYPE remains above the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, all sloping higher. The 50-day moving average near $49 is presented as the first major dynamic support, still well below current price action.

Volume adds another layer. NewsBTC reports the rally into the highs came with sustained increased trading activity, which points to demand beyond a pure speculative spike. The selloff also produced elevated volume, consistent with some profit-taking after a parabolic advance.

What to watch next, per NewsBTC

NewsBTC’s key support zone is $64 to $65. It says this area matches the breakout region that launched the final leg higher and is acting as immediate support.

If bulls defend $64 to $65, NewsBTC expects HYPE could form a higher low before testing the $75 all-time high again. If the correction goes deeper, NewsBTC says the next likely zone is $58 to $60, where prior resistance could turn into support.

HYPE trades like a token with defenders, not a token with certainty. Arkham’s withdrawal and immediate staking pattern gives the “behavioral signal” NewsBTC says the price action alone can’t.

But the market still has to prove that support zones hold. NewsBTC’s $64 to $65 level is the near-term test, and the $58 to $60 band is the backup scenario if risk appetite keeps sliding.
