Justin Sun's AINFT marketplace facilitated exactly four NFT sales across two collections over the past 30 days, totaling 5,434 TRON—roughly $1,775 at current prices. The week before publication saw just two sales. According to Dune Analytics data reviewed by Protos, this represents the operational reality of a platform that describes itself as "The Biggest NFT Trading Platform on TRON."

The marketplace, originally launched as APENFT in 2021, rebranded in 2025 to AINFT, appending AI to its name. The rebrand produced no visible uptick in volume. Four sales in 30 days suggests the platform has lost whatever liquidity or user base it once maintained.

Sun's memecoin launchpad, Sun Pump, shows similarly weak traction. Over the same 30-day window, 57 tokens launched on the platform. Some days saw only one new token. Dune Analytics recorded $196 in revenue across seven days, with June 10 posting just $3. The fee structure and deployment mechanics of Sun Pump appear permissive enough to allow rapid token creation, but permissiveness alone does not generate volume.

Thematic coherence is absent. Of 36 memecoins displayed on Sun Pump's homepage, 18 centered on Justin Sun himself. Others tracked USDT or relied on a moustache motif. The lack of organic, diverse projects launching suggests the platform functions as a token-issuance tool for Sun's own promotional ecosystem rather than a genuine creator platform.

For context, TRON ranks eighth by market capitalization, and Tether (USDT) holds third place. Neither metric moves the needle on these two products. The low transaction counts and thin revenue are not attributable to TRON's scale or USDT's adoption. They reflect insufficient demand for what these two platforms offer.

Weak adoption at launch or rebrand often signals a mismatch between the product's design and user incentives. Neither platform has demonstrated the retention mechanisms that sustain trading volume or creator participation. The figures from Dune Analytics quantify what silent blockchain data tells: both AINFT and Sun Pump operate at a fraction of their stated capacity.
