REAL Finance, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain aimed at tokenizing real-world financial assets, announced the official launch of its native token, $ASSET.
The company says $ASSET went live and started trading on April 30 at 15:00 UTC. It also claims a coordinated, simultaneous listing across OKX, KuCoin, Kraken, and MEXC, which it frames as a way to deliver faster global market access and liquidity for the asset.
REAL Finance positions $ASSET as a core piece of its ecosystem. In its announcement, the project says it is building infrastructure to bridge traditional finance and blockchain, including “tokenization, distribution, and management” of real-world assets inside a “compliant and scalable” digital environment. The token is also described as supporting on-chain financial activity and access to tokenized asset markets.
To spark early trading activity, REAL Finance says it joined exchange-led promotions. The project cites a $40,000 giveaway on KuCoin and a $50,000 reward pool on MEXC. REAL Finance also points to its own funding, stating it has raised $29 million to date, backed by Nimbus Capital, Magnus Capital, and Frekaz Group.
REAL Finance CEO Ivo Grigorov said the launch represents a “step in bringing institutional-grade financial infrastructure on-chain,” and described $ASSET as a foundation for integrating real-world assets without compromising “compliance or transparency,” according to the announcement.
